Skye Air Mobility Raises $9 Million to Accelerate Autonomous Drone Delivery
India's drone logistics industry continues to gain momentum, and Skye Air Mobility has taken a significant step forward by raising $9 million in a Series B funding round led by IAN Alpha Fund. The round also attracted participation from AVNM Ventures, Faad Capital, Bajaj Capital, and other investors.
Founded by Ankit Kumar, Skye Air Mobility has built one of India's leading autonomous drone logistics platforms. The company focuses on hyperlocal deliveries using AI-enabled drones, helping businesses move medicines, e-commerce orders, groceries, and other time-sensitive shipments more efficiently.
The newly raised capital will support expansion beyond Delhi-NCR into Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, while strengthening the company's proprietary Physical AI ecosystem, intelligent airspace management platform (Skye UTM), and autonomous logistics network.
According to the company, Skye Air has already completed more than 4 million drone deliveries while helping save over 1,000 tonnes of CO₂, demonstrating the growing commercial viability of autonomous logistics.
