OneKiraana Raises $1.6 Million to Modernize India's Kirana Store Ecosystem
India's neighborhood kirana stores continue to serve as the backbone of the country's grocery market, and OneKiraana is building the technology to help them thrive in the digital era.
The RetailTech startup has raised $1.6 million in a seed funding round led by Ankur Capital, with participation from GreenTrunk Ventures, VCMint, and several angel investors. The fresh capital will be used to strengthen technology, manufacturing capabilities, last-mile logistics, and expand its partner network across India.
Founded by Bhavin Soni and Umang Savla, OneKiraana enables neighborhood retailers to launch their own private-label products through customized manufacturing, supply chain support, packaging, and data-driven retail intelligence. The company is focused on helping kirana stores compete more effectively against organized retail without replacing their community-first business model.
Currently, the startup works with 900+ kirana stores, supplying over 3 million private-label products across 1,500 SKUs in 25 categories.
Why This Funding Matters
India's grocery market remains largely driven by neighborhood retailers. By providing modern technology, manufacturing support, and efficient logistics, OneKiraana is enabling small businesses to improve profitability, strengthen customer loyalty, and build their own brands.
