Let's Game Now has raised Rs 30 crore to develop the Indian Super Gaming League, with backing from Anand Mahindra, Bestvantage Investments and a UAE-based family office, according to reports by Inc42 on October 30 and IndianStartupNews on October 31. The Bengaluru-based esports company's funding was already reported on October 28. It is company investment, not a Rs 30 crore tournament prize pool.

The capital is intended to accelerate development of ISGL, a franchise-based gaming and entertainment property. Let's Game Now, founded in 2018 by Santanu Basu, organises online tournaments, offline events and live broadcasts and connects brands with gaming audiences. The reports do not disclose the company's valuation, investors' individual contributions or the equity stake involved.

ISGL's own website describes city qualifiers, competitive titles, creators and a national grand final within a season framework. It displays a Rs 50 lakh prize pool. That figure describes the competition's prize pool and should not be confused with the Rs 30 crore raised by the company. The funding announcement is also distinct from a new league launch.

The company says it has organised more than 2,000 events and built a community of over 1.4 million members. These are company-reported operating claims, not audited revenue or evidence that every member watches each competition. Inc42 and IndianStartupNews both report the platform's tournament and brand-facing activities, providing context for its move towards a recurring league property.

FundForge Insight: a franchise format can turn one-off events into a repeatable commercial product, but funding does not prove that the economics work. The next evidence to watch is recurring audience engagement, sponsor renewals, franchise participation and delivery costs. A large community is useful only if it supports sustained participation and commercial demand across seasons.
