Ace Blend, a Bengaluru-based science-led nutrition company, has raised $9.91 million in a Series A2 round led by 3one4 Capital, the venture firm behind Licious, Darwinbox and Kapiva. Existing investor Fireside Ventures increased its backing after leading the company's $3.3 million pre-Series A round.
The fresh capital will fund research-led product development and the commercial launch of patented nutrition formats, with the first expected in the fourth quarter of FY27. Unlike brands built around trending ingredients, Ace Blend says it starts with clinical evidence: research determines each nutrient's form, dose and delivery, with clinical validation and automated testing conducted by accredited laboratories in Europe. Partnerships with ingredient suppliers DSM and TCI give it exclusive India rights to certain technologies, the company said.
Founder and Chief Vision Officer Shivam Hingorani made the company's first sales in 2018 after more than a decade of research; co-founder Saif Mehkri, who brings nearly three decades of nutrition industry experience, joined in 2022. The range targets heart health, immunity, sleep, recovery and brain health. Ace Blend claims 300% growth in FY26 and says more than 46% of its customers return to buy again. The valuation and individual cheques were not disclosed.
"That foundation gives the company control over quality and claims, more depth to innovate, and an efficiency advantage that is difficult to reproduce," said Pranav Pai, managing partner at 3one4 Capital. Fireside Ventures principal Ankita Balotia pointed to repeat purchases and word of mouth as evidence of consumer trust - though repeat buying alone does not independently establish a supplement's clinical effectiveness.
FundForge Insight: Indian supplements have been a marketing-led category where the loudest claims win shelf space; this round is a bet that formulation IP and verifiable testing become the moat as FSSAI scrutiny of health claims tightens. With TruNativ, Supply6 and The Stack all raising in recent months, the winners will be decided by who proves efficacy, not who shouts loudest.
The round lands amid a funding wave in Indian nutrition: TruNativ raised $30 million in June led by OrbiMed, Supply6 secured Rs 48 crore in July from Unilever Ventures and Zeropearl VC, and The Stack raised Rs 21.5 crore in October.
